India, however, has seen a slight drop in its passport power, ranking at 82nd globally. This represents a decrease from its 80th position in 2023. Indian passport holders now enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 58 countries, including popular Tourist places in Asia like Indonesia and Thailand. This change highlights the continued challenge for India in terms of expanding its citizens' travel freedom compared to many other countries.

Conversely, the United States passport is now ranked at the eighth spot, with access to 186 countries, reflecting some decline as other countries have enhanced their visa agreements. At the bottom of the ranking is Afghanistan, where passport holders have visa-free access to just 26 destinations, underscoring the severe restrictions faced by Afghan citizens in global travel.
